The third annual Fall Poker Classic at Seneca Niagara Falls brings back the short but intense poker series to the Northeast. The series includes $370,000 in guaranteed prize pools over just eight events. It all kicks off on November 9 at the Seneca Niagara Casino.
The Fall Poker Classic starts big with the $100,000 guaranteed multiflight no-limit hold’em tournament. The buy-in is $300 and the event has four starting flights over Friday and Saturday. The only tournament with a larger guarantee is the $1,000 Main Event, with a $200,000 prize pool.
The Main Event is scheduled to begin November 15 with three starting flights. The winner of the event will also be featured on the cover of Card Player Magazine.
Beginning October 20, players can enter one of several $145 satellite events offering a seat in the Main Event. Five lucky players at the casino will win their Main Event seats for just $45 through live poker every weekend leading up to the tournament.
The other six events on the series schedule consist of $120 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournaments, a $300 buy-in pot-limit Omaha tournament, and a $300 buy-in closing tournament.
Players in the region can get an early start on the action with the casino’s Fall Poker Classic Warm Up pre-series events starting on October 12. The events have $200 buy-ins but are bigger than average pre-series tournaments with a total of $50,000 in guarantees.
The Seneca Niagara Casino poker room is open 24-7 and offers 23 poker tables.
