Big bonus for poker fans across the pond as 888poker is going to cover Europe’s largest cash poker game; the German High Roller is kicking off its new 16-episode season with Sport1 broadcasting.
The popular and controversy generating Leon Tsoukernik is on the list of players scheduled to appear on the next season of German High Roller.
It’s’ the 11th year for the popular German High Roller program. The show is similar to the canceled High Stakes Poker but with a distinctive German touch.
The players confirmed for appearances this season include Quirin Zech, Vladimir Geshkenbein, George Danzer, Ismael Bojang, Theo Jörgensen, and the infamous King’s Casino proprietor Leon Tsoukernik, who has garnered a reputation this last year of cheating players out of millions of dollars in winnings.
The new episodes aired last weekend and the new series continues until November 26th of this year.
The venues that have played host to the German High Roller in the past are the Alpine Palace in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, King’s Casino Rozvadov, and the Grand Casino in Lucerne.
New episodes began airing this past weekend and will continue through Nov. 26. Local listings in Europe can be accessed by checking the schedule on Sport1.
The rights obtained by 888poker marks a continuing broadcast market share for the second largest online poker site.
