Card Player Poker Tour Jacksonville Is Set To Start This Friday

The Card Player Poker Tour will make its way back to Jacksonville, Florida for the 5th year in a row. The festival will take place at the largest poker room in the state and features 13 different events with $350,000 in guaranteed prize money. Event will have something for everyone, dates range from April 27th to May 8th, with buy-ins for events going from $200 to the $1,100 main event.

Play action has already begun and the $360 buy-in no-limit hold’em with a guaranteed $100,000 prize purse. The event was able to attract 562 entries for a total purse of $168,800. In the end it was Florida native Alex Feliciano who took the title and a payout of $30,389.

However, the feature of the entire festival is the CPPT main event, which will have two starting flights this year, both beginning at noon on Friday and Saturday. Participants will receive 25,000 in chips and a chance to play for the $200,000 guaranteed total prize purse.

Satellite games have already begun to win a chance to be at the main event and are running daily. The CPPT will stream the main event live for fans to follow from home and tournaments updates will be issued periodically.
