Gaming Innovation Group, which recently joined New Jersey’s legal online gambling market, landed its first deal to supply poker to an external operator. GiG signed a deal with One Time Marketing Services to provide the platform for its online poker and casino services.
The GiG Core platform will serve OneTimePoker, a brand powered by the Microgaming Poker Network. Unlike peer-to-peer online poker, the network offers “casino in poker” games in which players compete against the house.
In June, GiG announced its entrance into the United States market. GiG partnered with Hard Rock Atlantic City to operate its full range of online casino games. Hard Rock elected not to offer online poker in New Jersey.
According to the press release, OneTimePoker plans to launch in the first quarter of 2019. The company expects the deal to make a moderate contribution to its revenue through the end of 2019 but projects increased growth in 2020.
OneTimePoker is a product of Randall Kasper, the founder of Poker Players International. The player marketing and representation firm claim to have represented more than 500 professional players over the past decade, but the information to support that claim is lacking. Its former web address is up for sale and its new site, PPIPoker.net, does not contain any of this information.
Kasper launched the site last year in partnership with Tain. It offers real money online poker to non-U.S. Residents. At the time, Tain CEO praised PPI for having experience in virtually every aspect of the industry, from poker room consulting to software development.
