Anyone who wants to move beyond No Limit Hold’em poker now has some more options on Global Poker. The online portal has announced that it is expanding its menu and will offer more Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) and Crazy Pineapple games.
Going forward, Global Poker will have an additional seven offerings for PLO sit-n-gos. Having previously offered only three, the expanded lineup is certain to attract more PLO fans. Buy-ins for the games will range from $1.10 to $22, using the site’s Sweeps Cash model, and will include six-max and four-max Turbo games with a winner-takes-all format. PLO ring games offer variations from $0.02/$0.04 to $10/$20 and are offered in six-max and full ring formats.
Crazy Pineapple was first introduced as a Gold Coin game. Now, it will be offered in low-limit Sweeps Cash games, as well, giving players the opportunity to win cash prizes. There are six-max and nine-handed ring games available starting at $0.02/$0.04 and increasing to $1/$2. There will be daily Crazy Pineapple tournaments at 10:10 PM Eastern Time with a buy-in of $5.50 and a guaranteed prize pool of $250. As with all of Global Poker’s Sweeps Cash games and tournaments, the buy-ins and levels refer to Sweeps Cash amounts.
Crazy Pineapple is a variant of the NLHE format. Three hole cards are dealt to each player, but one has to be discarded after betting ends following the dealing of the flop. From there, the game continues the same as NLHE.
