The Poker Masters series of tournaments are set to get underway next month. From September 7 through 15, the games will take place at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas, offering a variety of options for virtually all players. There will be a total of seven events, with buy-ins ranging from $10,000 to $100,000.
There are three formats in the lineup this year – NLHE, Pot-Limit Omaha and short-deck hold’em. All events will be two-day events and several will offer double re-entry possibilities. The player who earns the most points across all events will win the series’ coveted Purple Jacket.
All tournaments start at 2 PM local time with the event final table slated for 1 PM the following day. The events are all six-handed tournaments and will employ a 30-second shot clock, as well as give each player three 60-second time extensions daily.
The PokerGo studio is located at the Aria Resort & Casino. Starting September 8, all events will have daily live streams available on the popular streaming platform. The live streams can be seen beginning at various time throughout the day, with the main event’s action beginning its live stream on September 14 at 7 PM ET.
Maria Ho will be providing some of the commentary, alongside Brent Hanks and Jeff Platt. Several well-known high-stakes players, such as defending champion Steffen Sontheimer, Justin Bonomo, Daniel Negreanu, Stephen Chidwick and Phil Hellmuth, are expected at the tables.
