The World Poker Tour heads to Hollywood, Florida once again this month for the 2018 Seminole Hard Rock Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open. The 19-event series kicks off on November 14 and runs through November 28. The Championship event begins on November 25 and will live stream on WPT.com.
Consistently among the most popular annual poker series in the state of Florida, the Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open set the state record in 2016. That year the $360 buy-in series opener drew over 5,000 entries to become the biggest tournament in Florida history.
The same $360 buy-in Deep Stack NLHE series opener returns this year with a $1 million guaranteed prize pool. Other highlights throughout the series include a $1,100 buy-in One-Day tournament with a $100,000 guarantee; a $5,000 buy-in Eight-Handed NLH tournament with a $250,000 guaranteed, and a second Deep Stack Event with a $250,000 guarantee.
In addition to the primary tournament schedule, the property will be running 40 secondary and satellite events. They offer a multitude of opportunities for players to get into the higher buy-in tournaments for a fraction of the buy-in price.
Additionally, Hard Rock is running its “Win a Seat” program through their official website. The program awards free tournament seats without having to enter a satellite event.
The headliner of the series is the $3,500 buy-in Championship which boasts a $2 million guaranteed. There are two ways to watch the Championship from home. It will broadcast live on the Fox Sports Network and stream live on WPT.com.
