Seneca Fall Poker Classic Begins Today

The annual Fall Poker Classic at the Seneca Niagara Casino kicks off today with the first of eight events. This marks the third year in a row the Card Player Poker Tour has partnered with the casino to host the series. The events offer a combined total of prize pool guarantees over $370,000.

The first event of the series is the $300 buy-in $100,000 guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em tournament. The event offers players four starting flights to enter spread over Friday and Saturday. Players receive a starting stack of 20,000 chips and the tournament will run in 30-minute levels.

The series schedule also includes NLH tournaments with a more affordable $120 buy-in and a $300 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha tournament. All tournaments have at least a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool. The series will close out on a $15,000 guaranteed NLH tournament with a $300 buy-in.

The highlight of the Fall Poker Classic is the CPPT Main Event – a $200,000 guaranteed tournament with a $1,000 buy-in. The main event offers a total of three starting flights between Thursday, November 15 and Saturday, November 17. The last satellite events to win a seat into the event are scheduled for November 14 and 16.

The final table of the event is expected to wrap up on Monday, November 19.

The winner of the CPPT Main Event will collect the lion’s share of the prize pool. It also earns a feature on the cover of Card Player Magazine. Last year’s winner, Guy Klass, appeared on the cover holding his winning hand after surviving the 271-player deep field to collect $58,608.
