Americas Cardroom Launches Second Mortgage Week with 10 Nosebleed Stakes Events During OSS XL

Americas Cardroom has announced Second Mortgage Week as part of the ongoing OSS XL series, running September 21-28 with 10 high-stakes Nosebleed events spread across five playing days.

The series features buy-ins reaching as high as $25,500, making it one of the most exclusive stretches of tournament poker available online. Two events are scheduled each playing day, covering No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha formats in both 6-max and 8-max configurations.

Sunday, September 27 Headlines the Schedule

The biggest day of Second Mortgage Week arrives Sunday, September 27, when the $25,500 NLH 8-Max tops the card. That day also features Day 1B of two major guaranteed events: the $2.5 million guaranteed $2,650 Main Event and the $2 million guaranteed $1,050 Main Event. Day 2 of the $500,000 guaranteed $66 Main Event also runs that day.

Final Day Highlights

Second Mortgage Week wraps Monday, September 28, with a $15,400 NLH 8-Max and a $5,200 NLH 6-Max R/A event, giving high-stakes players one final opportunity to compete at the top level before the series concludes.

Star Players Expected to Compete

Americas Cardroom Pro Chris Moneymaker expressed excitement about the series, noting that fellow pros Alex Foxen and David Peters are expected to participate. Moneymaker himself is hoping to repeat his victory from a previous Nosebleed Stakes Series.

“The great thing about the Nosebleed Stakes events is that you get to watch top-level poker players compete every day,” Moneymaker said.
